For this year’s Canada Day celebrations we traveled to nearby Cobourg, Ontario to watch the Skyhawks, the Canada Force’s precision parachute team.
It is amazing to watch what they can do in the air and they are the ONLY parachute team in the world to do this kind of demonstration.
It was also my first time in Cobourg. I enjoyed walking on the busy downtown streets and many of the shops were open to accommodate the tourists. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to do much shopping. The kids were only interested in the cotton candy which was an OUTRAGEOUS $4 per bag!
Hopefully I’ll have time to go back to Cobourg and explore before we’re posted again.
